Welcome to Jake's!

Jake's, formerly R&R Bar-B-Que, has been serving up authentic, Eastern-style barbecue since 1998. Founded by lifelong barbecue lovers Bob Critz and Rob Elmore, the restaurant has become a staple in Concord, NC, known for its slow-cooked meats, homemade sides, and welcoming atmosphere. In 2023, the restaurant was rebranded as Jake's in honor of Bob's late son, keeping the same commitment to quality, tradition, and great Southern barbecue that has made it a local favorite for decades.

3 Meats Platter

The three meat platter had more food for two people on it than you could eat first time ordering online and picking it up. It was ready faster than said food was hot. The order was right couldn't get any better.

BBQ Sandwich (Kids)

Seniors can order from this menu for smaller appetites. BBQ is moist and tender. A good size sandwich. It's served with fries but you can pick another side instead for a $1.00 up charge. A good deal.

Pound Chopped BBQ

We love Jake's chopped barbecue, it is delicious every single time. We also serve Jake's barbecue at football games. It is one of our most popular items and we love to introduce this barbeque to fans from outside Concord.
