Jake's, formerly R&R Bar-B-Que, has been serving up authentic, Eastern-style barbecue since 1998. Founded by lifelong barbecue lovers Bob Critz and Rob Elmore, the restaurant has become a staple in Concord, NC, known for its slow-cooked meats, homemade sides, and welcoming atmosphere. In 2023, the restaurant was rebranded as Jake's in honor of Bob's late son, keeping the same commitment to quality, tradition, and great Southern barbecue that has made it a local favorite for decades.
